Howdy, Podner!

Rockin' Horse Art Studio offers western art, western watercolor paintings of horses, and western bronze sculpture of horses.

The name, "Rockin' Horse Art Studio", came from my favorite toy as a child--my little rockin horse named Silver.  Silver was built for me by my father when I was just a baby.  My mother blamed him for my love of horses!

My western art paintings are of Montana scenes and western watercolor paintings of horses, old barns, western watercolor paintings of homestead cabins and Montana ghost towns in a slightly abstract impressionistic style.

Western bronze sculpture of horses are also available.  My first western bronze sculpture of horses is named "Romance" and is a small bronze sculpture of two running horses, a limited edition of 20 pieces.

I make unique wire sculpture of horses, Pegasus, bison, dragons, giraffe, dogs, and cats. I use black annealed steel wire in these creations. The wire may rust over time, especially if exposed to the weather.  I enjoy the rusted effect.

My barbed wire wreaths use artifacts from the old west.  Barbed wire wreaths make great decor for your home or cabin, inside or out.  This form of western art is unique.

Check out the Homestead cards printed from pen & ink drawings of original homestead cabins in the Swan Valley of Montana, with the actual homestead story on the back of the card.  Framed card prints are available as well.

Visit Rockin' Horse Art Studio in the beautiful Swan Valley of Western Montana,  located between the Bob Marshall Wilderness area and the Mission Mountain Wilderness area, amid the Crown of the Continent.  Montana Mountain Highway 83 leads through the Swan Valley, and is the scenic route to Glacier National Park.  You will enjoy the scenery as well as my western watercolor painting (of horses, cabins, barns, Montana ghost towns and western scenery) and western bronze sculpture of horses, barbed wire wreaths and western homestead cards.  Rockin' Horse Art Studio is located just off  Highway 83 in the Crown of the Continent.
